DVD Burners in your laptop or “all in one” can easily be replaced in the event that they break down.

Did you know that most DVD Burners are actually the same except for the “door”.

We do a lot of computer and Laptop recycling here so we end up with an abundance of DVD Burners left over. In the event that your burner dies we can offer to replace it with one of our drives and simply change the front over. You may even end up with a new faster drive as a result. Sure some times new drivers may need to be loaded to get the most out of your new drive but for the most part they are very compatible.

Do you have a standard DVD Burner and would like to swap over to a Blue-ray reader / DVD Burner combo? Well we can help you with that too.

Some times we can even take out the DVD Burner all together and replace it with a hard drive bay, which although it looks like a DVD burner drive is actually a “caddy” designed to carry a spare hard drive in place of the standard burner. Doing this means you will have no burner but now your laptop will accomodate two hard drives.

In the even that you don’t have a DVD burner at all, for example you may have a netbook, we can supply you with an external USB DVD Burner.
